Here is the perspective of a 14 year old when World came on to the scene. People were tired of the whole Powell thing. No one had ramps. Everyone you knew skated in the street. So when World came out and was like, yeah we are with you guys. Powell instantly became like the "old man' company and uncool. When Mike V went to World, I remember that was it for me. Rocco had an entire generation of skaters like me to jump over to World.
